Level 4 cut resistance
The socks are made from a cut resistant fabric and are labelled to the EN388 standard at cut resistance level 4, which is a high band of cut protection. In plain terms, the fabric resists a passing blade far better than an ordinary sock, lowering the risk of a serious cut to the ankle. Most short track competitions expect cut resistant clothing, and dedicated ankle protection is a sensible part of a complete race kit.

Care
Rinse off ice and grit after sessions, wash gently and dry flat away from direct heat. Avoid harsh detergents and tumble drying, which can shorten the life of the protective fibres and the silicone gripper.
