StayBent Quick Tips - Solid Colors

StayBent Quick Tips in solid colours are glove tips that reduce friction when you place your hand on the ice through the corners, so you can carry more speed on the short track. They are shaped for a precise fit on each finger and add a splash of colour to your race gloves.

How glove tips work

In short track you touch the ice with your inside hand through the corner to keep balance and hold your line. A bare glove drags on the ice and scrubs off speed. A hard, low friction tip slides instead of grabbing, so you keep more of your speed through the turn. That is why almost every short track racer runs tips.

How to fit them

Clean the fingertips of your glove, apply a thin layer of CA glue to the tip, press it onto the finger and let it cure fully before skating. Fit them to the fingers you actually put down through the corner.
