Killer JUNK 110 XFirm Wheels (Set of 8)

The Killer JUNK is JUNK's evolution of a legendary race wheel, and this is the XFirm version at 110mm, sold as a full set of eight. It is the grippier of the two firmness options, made for hard, smooth, dry race surfaces where you need the wheel to hold.
What makes Killer JUNK different
The Killer JUNK takes inspiration from a wheel that has carried skaters to many victories and world championships, then improves on it. The headline change is a noticeably stiffer hub, along with several JUNK specific tweaks that lift performance over the previous model. Distance skaters report extra momentum through points and elimination races, while sprinters get an edge in the closing stages of the 1,000 metres.
The natural hub and pure urethane
This wheel uses a natural hub with no added pigment. JUNK found that the pigment free hub gives better roll, grip and durability than coloured versions, because the composition stays pure. The urethane is kept in its raw form for the same reason, with no additives, so the wheel performs at its peak.

XFirm or XXFirm, which to choose
XFirm at 84 to 86A is the softer compound and grips more, which suits hard, smooth, dry surfaces where a harder wheel can slip. For the most roll and outright speed, look at the harder Killer JUNK XXFirm at 86 to 88A. Both share the same stiffer natural hub.

These are 110mm wheels for frames set up for a 110 wheel. A set of eight covers a standard four wheel per foot inline speed frame. You will need sixteen 608 bearings and spacers, available in our speed bearings collection.
Frequently asked questions
How is Killer JUNK different from the Road Reaper?
Killer JUNK uses a stiffer natural hub and a pigment free build aimed at blending the roll of a hard wheel with the grip of a softer one. The Road Reaper is the established race wheel with a long record of world titles. Both are excellent 110mm race wheels.
Why is the hub not coloured?
The natural, pigment free hub gives better roll, grip and durability than coloured versions, because the composition stays pure.
How many wheels come in a set?
Eight, a full set for a pair of four wheel inline speed skates.
Do bearings come with the wheels?
No. You will need sixteen 608 bearings and spacers, which we stock separately.
