What is the difference between soakers and blade guards?

Soakers are soft fabric covers that absorb moisture while your skates sit in your bag. Blade guards are hard plastic covers that protect your edges while you walk. Most skaters use both.

Which size do I need?

Measure your blade. Small/Medium fits 13.0" to 16.0" and Medium/Large fits 16.5" to 18.0". Short track runners usually take Small/Medium, longer long track blades take Medium/Large.

Can I leave the soakers on my blades all the time?

Use them for transport and storage, but let both the soakers and the blades dry out fully between sessions. A permanently damp soaker will hold moisture against the steel instead of drawing it away.

Do soakers replace drying my blades?

No. Wipe the blades down first, then fit the soakers. The soakers catch the remaining moisture. If a burr or rust spot does appear, the StayBent Diamond Deburr Stone will clean the edge up.

How do I wash them?

Hand wash in cool water and air dry fully before using them again.
